CH 00 · Atlas by Covr
Early accessTexts that bring checkouts back.
Atlas texts shoppers who leave your Shopify checkout from a real phone line, under a first name you choose. It answers what they write back from your own products and their orders, and you pay a share of the sales it brings back.
Maya
iMessage
An hour after checkout
hi sam, it’s Maya from your store

perfect, thank you
CH 01 · The texts
One question, then it listens.
An hour after a shopper leaves checkout, one friendly text from your store asks if they want help. A short nudge later that day and one the next day, then nothing. On iPhones it arrives as an iMessage.
A person's name, your store's name
Each line texts as a first name you pick, from your store. If a shopper sincerely asks whether they're talking to a person, it says it's your store's texting assistant and offers to get someone.
Short, like people text
Two lines at most, in plain words, with no links before they reply.
Stops on its own
A reply hands the conversation to the assistant. A purchase ends the texts. STOP ends them for good.
CH 02 · The conversation
It answers like someone who works there.
When a shopper writes back, the assistant takes it from there, with your catalog, their cart and their orders in front of it, and your team a tap away.
Answers from your catalog
Product questions are answered from your own Shopify products: options, prices and whether it's in stock right now. If it isn't on your product page, it says it isn't sure.
Knows their cart and orders
It can see what was in the checkout they left and their orders with you, found by the number they're texting from, with tracking.
The link once they reply
The first texts carry no links. When the shopper writes back, their own checkout link goes with the answer.
Hands off anything about money
Refunds, discounts, order changes and complaints go to your team with the reason. It never promises an amount or a date.
Follows your notes
Tell it where your checkout ships, what your returns are and what it must never say. It follows them and never makes up a policy.
Your team, in the same place
Read every conversation in the app, reply as your store, take one over and give it back. Text any customer who opted in to SMS.
It never makes health or effect claims about a product, never quotes reviews, and never guesses where you ship.
CH 03 · The rules
Texting shoppers want to get.
The rules are built in, the same for every store, so a text never goes to someone who didn't ask for it or at an hour they wouldn't want it.
Opted-in shoppers
By default it texts only shoppers who agreed to SMS marketing on that number, as Shopify records it.
STOP means stop
A shopper who texts STOP is never texted by your store again, from any of its lines.
Quiet hours where they live
Automatic texts wait for daytime in the shopper's own state, and the stricter states' hours.
Once a week, at most
One set of cart texts per shopper a week, however many checkouts they start.
New customers first
New customers' carts are texted first. Returning customers' carts come next, biggest first, or not at all if you choose.
Lines we look after
Covr sets up your texting lines and keeps them within each line's daily limits. You don't buy numbers.
CH 04 · How you pay
Only for the sales it brings back.
You pay a share of each order Atlas brings back, through your Shopify bill, and you can see every one.
- 01
What counts
An order placed within 7 days of the first text, either from the checkout we texted about or by the phone number we texted. Never an order placed before the first text, and never a test order.
- 02
On what
The items, after discounts. Shipping, tax and package protection aren't counted, and refunds and cancellations come off.
- 03
When
Each order is charged 14 days after it's placed, so most refunds come off first. A later refund is credited on your next charge.
- 04
Where you see it
Every order Atlas is credited with is listed in the app, with the shopper's first name, what they bought and how it counted.
